Effective February 2, 2026, your clients' Allstate Benefits group health plan will join the Nationwide family. This milestone marks the next step of the acquisition previously announced in July 2025. There will be no impact to the plan, coverage, service experience, or administration — this is a name change only.
To ensure a seamless experience, Nationwide will also communicate this update to your clients and provide them with similar information.
What will change?
- Visuals: Branding will change to the Nationwide logo and colors
- Web: Email addresses and URLs may change (see updated contact sheet)
What stays the same?
- Plan: Plan design, coverage levels, deductibles, and premiums
- Team: Your Sales Representative and Customer service contacts
- Plan administration: Third party administrators (TPA): Allied and Meritain
- Renewals: Renewal options and timelines
Important Details
- To ensure a smooth transition, system portals will be unavailable on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, for updates. Access will resume Monday February 2.
