As a reminder, effective March 1, 2026, members age 18 and older will need to enroll in a Vida weight loss program and show monthly engagement to qualify for weight loss drug coverage.* Prescription drug benefits are unchanged, and weight loss medications remain covered for those who qualify.

Sutter Health Plan has sent notices about the updated requirements directly to members receiving coverage for weight loss drugs, and Vida will soon begin outreach to all members about available programs and enrollment options.
